About

In the heart of Africa, where diverse landscapes and cultures converge, water is a critical resource. The African Ministers' Council on Water (AMCOW) has long been dedicated to ensuring water security and sanitation across the continent. However, the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated a shift from in-person meetings to a virtual format. This story chronicles the journey of AMCOW's innovative virtual meeting platform and its impact on water governance in Africa.

Determined to continue their mission, AMCOW decided to embrace technology. They developed a bespoke conference/event management platform tailored to the unique needs of the international event organizers and organizations. The platform would need to accommodate multiple languages, facilitate real-time collaboration, and be accessible even in regions with limited internet connectivity.
